    • Navy: Dinner Dress Blue Jacket or Equivalent
    • Marine Corps: Evening Dress "B" or Blue/White "A"

Transportation

Limited paid parking is available at the hotel. To alleviate congestion in the hotel parking garage, Complimentary luxury coach transportation will be available between the Pentagon and the Hilton.

Hotel Accommodations

  • The Washington Hilton has a limited number of rooms available at a special ball rate of $179 per night. Please reference the Navy-Marine Corps Ball when making a reservation.

Photographer

  • Greenwood Photography will be available to take photos. A $10 deposit, payable by cash or check, and an email address is required.

Individual tickets available for sale to: 1) active duty/reserve/retired service members; 2) DoD civilians; 3) government employees; 4) veterans; 5) Official Guest of someone in categories 1 & 2.

For categories 1 & 2, ticket price for the sponsor and a spouse or one guest is based on sponsor's rank or DoD civilian level. Additional guests at Civilian Guest price. For all other categories, ticket price is Civilian Guest price.

Whether attending the ball or not, every donation helps our Sailors, Marines and their Families.

Here are some examples of how your donation may be used by NMCRS:

  • $25 - Buys gas for a military spouse to travel to a job interview
  • $50 - Provides formula and diapers for a newborn for a week
  • $75 - Fills a Junior Sea Bag given to expectant military families attending the Society’s Budget for Baby Workshop
  • $100 - Makes emergency vehicle repairs so a Sailor or Marine can report for duty
  • $150 - Feeds a Navy or Marine Corps family of 4 for a week until their next payday
  • $250 - Helps a Marine or Sailor travel to the bedside of an ailing family member
  • $500 - Provides food, shelter and gas for a Navy or Marine Corps family evacuated due to a natural disaster
  • $1,000 - Covers travel expenses for a Visiting Nurse to visit a combat-injured Marine or Sailor in their home
  • $2,500 - Pays for burial expenses of a retired Sailor or Marine - or their widow
  • $5,000 - Provides temporary housing near a medical treatment facility following major surgery or while attending rehabilitation

The Navy-Marine Corps Ball Committee is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Established in 1914, by military spouses, to raise funds for the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society and to organize an annual ball to celebrate the support of its contributors. Funds provided by the Navy-Marine Corps Ball help millions of Sailors, Marines and their families with financial assistance for emergency aid, education, Combat Casualty Assistance Visiting Nurses and other vital assistance at home and abroad.
