SILENT AUCTION BEGINS IN:
A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
NAVY-MARINE CORPS RELIEF SOCIETY
As we all maintain our social distance, I want to let you know how much we at Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society appreciate your continued support. The COVID-19 pandemic has left us all in unchartered waters. The annual Navy-Marine Corps Ball is often the largest single contribution to the Society each year and I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the Washington area community and corporate leaders who supported us, even though we will not be celebrating together at the Ball. Your generous and steadfast patronage of the Society allows us to stand by, ready to assist our active duty and retired Sailors, Marines, their families and survivors in their time of financial crisis.
Your contribution allows us to help our clients in need. Last year we provided assistance to nearly 50,000 clients. This allowed service members to return home to see a sick loved one, or attend a funeral, flee Hurricane Dorian, and other natural disasters. This year you are already allowing us to help Sailors and Marines affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
With your support, we can help to keep our Sea Service members focused on the mission, and be better prepared for the future.
Lieutenant General, USMC (Ret)
